Also known as Weihnachtstollen, this traditional German bread is a must-have for the holiday season! Our bakery begins by marinating candied citrus peel, raisins, cranberries, and dried fruit in dark rum for over a month before mixing them into a yeasted-dough spiced with nutmeg, cardamom, clover and ginger. We then add almonds to the sweet dough, bake it to tender perfection, and top it with a thin layer of confectioners sugar. This bread is perfect for a cold, holiday morning paired with coffee or tea, or for finishing up a holiday meal on a dark, winter night.
