Cepage: 60% Gamay Noir, 20% Pineau d’Aunis, and 20% Cot

Vineyard: 15-65 year-old vines planted in sand-over-clay soils

Winemaking and elevage: 80% Whole cluster fermentation. Aged for approximately 7 months in 60% oak vessels and 40% stainless steel tank. Bottled unfiltered.

Buyer’s Notes: A few of these wines are new to us from Tessier, and we don’t always get the chance to taste them. We want to save them for you! So you be the judge.

Philippe’s Notes: Fine tannin structure, tension and freshness. Spices, pepper, red stone fruits.
