Vineyard: 15-40 year-old vines planted on siliceous clay

Winemaking and elevage: Whole cluster fermentation and semi-carbonic maceration. Aged for four months in a mixture of stainless steel, wood, and concrete vessels.

Buyer’s Notes: Perennially satisfying flagship red from Tessier. Crunchy, light, fresh, and precise. Refreshing stuff.

Philippe’s Notes: A blend of Pinot Noir, Gamay, and Côt grown on siliceous soil and powdery clay. Notes of red fruit and pepper. Fruity, thirst-quenching, with fine tannins.
