Cepage: 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Gamay

Vineyard: 35 year-old vines planted in siliceous clay over chalk soils.

Winemaking and elevage: 70% Whole cluster fermentation. Aged for 7-12 months in oak and concrete vessels. Bottled unfiltered.

Buyer’s Notes: A more refined and focused expression of the idea in the Cheverny Rouge. More structured and earthy.

Philippe’s Notes: A blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay grown on siliceous-clay and clay-limestone soils. Bright and vibrant color. Floral and spicy notes (cinnamon, cherry, and almond). Balanced palate with pronounced fresh red fruit flavors. Harmonious texture and fine tannins.
